Microsoft is hiring a Critical Environment Technician to maintain and operate non-IT critical infrastructure in a data center in North West Sydney. The role involves inspecting and supervising electrical, HVAC, mechanical, controls, generator, and other critical environment equipment; performing planned, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance; troubleshooting systems; responding to onsite incidents; coordinating with facilities professionals; and using CMMS and telemetry platforms. The position is 100% onsite and requires a high school diploma, GED, TAFE, or equivalent plus at least one year of mission-critical services or related industry experience, along with Australian citizenship verification and applicable security screening.
