Description
The Critical Operations Technician provides 24×7×365 shift coverage for critical electrical, mechanical, cooling, controls, and life-safety systems in a data centre. The role performs authorised operational maintenance, system monitoring, first-response troubleshooting, incident support, contractor coordination, structured rounds, CMMS documentation, and reliability-risk reporting. It requires a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays, data-centre access, PPE, and legal entitlement to work in Australia; licensed electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration work is performed by contractors or licensed personnel.
