Description
The Deputy Associate Director, Parks and National Heritage Areas with Cultural Resources, Partnerships and Science (CRPS), coordinates and develops policies, standards, and programs for cultural resource preservation and management within the National Park Service. The role also manages the National Historic Preservation Program, supervises up to four GS-13 and GS-14 professional program managers and approximately 65 professional staff, prepares annual budget justifications, and provides technical assistance nationwide. The position requires U.S. citizenship or nationality, a background investigation, and at least one full year of GS-14-level specialized experience in cultural resources, historic preservation, research, program management, budgeting, or related activities.
