Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is hiring a Cryogenic Systems Engineering Manager to lead cryogenic operations and engineering teams supporting the fielding of NIF targets. The role provides technical leadership, strategic direction, project oversight, system design and optimization, readiness and maintenance, risk decision-making, training, documentation, and staff mentoring. It requires full-time on-site presence, a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a bachelor’s degree in Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. The position pays $227,430 to $288,396 annually and is open to current Lab employees and external candidates.
