Description
Focused Energy is hiring a Cryogenics Engineer to design, model, validate, and optimize cryogenic thermal and fluid systems for commercial-scale fusion energy. The role leads end-to-end simulation and analysis, applies first-principles research, supports hardware decisions, develops integrated analysis packages, and collaborates with experimentalists, hardware engineers, and scientists. Candidates should have 3–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent PhD research, an MSc or PhD in a related engineering or physical science discipline, and strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, cryogenic technologies, and thermal analysis software.
