Independent Software is hiring a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist Level 3 to apply computer science, mathematics, and engineering expertise to cryptographic and security challenges supporting national security missions. The role involves designing and evaluating algorithms, developing mathematical models, analyzing cryptographic vulnerabilities, supporting high-performance computing, and building data analytics workflows using Python, Spark, C++, and XKS. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree plus the specified years of experience, strong programming and mathematical skills, and an active TS SCI clearance with an appropriate polygraph.
