Umbra is hiring a Cryptographic Systems Engineer to lead the architecture, integration, certification, and lifecycle management of Type 1 cryptographic capabilities across spacecraft and ground systems for U.S. and allied defense and intelligence missions. The role is based on-site in Arlington, Virginia or Reston, Virginia, requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance, and involves close work with NSA, government customers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure communications for mission-critical space platforms.
