Amazon is hiring a Cryptography Security Engineer for its Specialized Business Security Cryptography team. The role owns the design, analysis, implementation, review, and extension of cryptographic solutions for devices and cloud services, including post-quantum cryptography, homomorphic encryption, lightweight cryptography, security protocols, public-key infrastructure, and hardware security modules. The engineer will collaborate with software development teams, provide security design reviews and training, and contribute to secure development practices in an agile environment. The position requires substantial experience in cryptographic solution development, threat modeling, secure coding, and system architecture, with preferred AWS and post-quantum cryptography experience. Base salaries range from $159,300 to $212,800 USD annually depending on location.
