Description
Brightsight is hiring a Cryptology Engineer to analyze and evaluate cryptographic mechanisms in secure products and systems, including symmetric and asymmetric algorithms, post-quantum cryptography, authentication and secure communication protocols, and random number generators. The role involves identifying conceptual vulnerabilities, assessing robustness against theoretical or statistical attacks, collaborating with security, hardware, software, and external teams, and improving evaluation methodologies. Candidates need a strong theoretical cryptography background, protocol or cryptographic modeling experience, RNG expertise, knowledge of security standards such as Common Criteria, strong communication skills, and proficiency in English; programming, side-channel and fault-injection knowledge, and academic publications are preferred.
