The CSS/Surgery Lead Technician provides operational and administrative leadership for Central Sterile Supply and surgical support in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The role oversees personnel, staffing, workflow, inventory, equipment, sterilization, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement while serving as a working lead for instrument processing, surgical suite preparation, and emergency surgical services. The position requires an associate degree or equivalent education and experience, rotating on-call availability, and certification within one and two years of hire. It is a staff appointment in Blacksburg, Virginia, with a starting salary of $45,000 and 40+ hours per week.
