Description
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computed tomography exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires and reviews images, documents exceptions, communicates findings to radiologists, responds to medical emergencies, provides post-care instructions, and participates in quality and process-improvement activities. The role may also perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist as needed and requires ARRT registration in Radiology or Computed Tomography, AHA BLS training, and one or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or advanced CT certification.
