Description
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is hiring a CT Technical Assistant Uganda to provide ICT support for its field offices and vocational skills training centers in Isingiro/Nakivale and other Ugandan locations. The role covers office technology planning and upgrades, computer networking, access privileges, data storage and backups, disaster recovery, cybersecurity protections, bandwidth monitoring, configuration management, preventive maintenance, and technical support. It requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, at least three years of experience, and hands-on hardware and LAN/WLAN knowledge. This is a nine-month national contract with possible extension, frequent travel, and applications limited to qualified Ugandan nationals.
