Description
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computed tomography exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires and reviews images, documents exceptions, communicates findings to radiologists, responds to medical emergencies, provides post-care instructions, and participates in quality and process-improvement activities. The role also provides imaging education and may perform Radiologic Technologist duties as needed. Applicants should have ARRT registration in Radiology or Computed Tomography preferred, AHA BLS training by the end of orientation, and at least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in Radiology or advanced CT certification.
