Description
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computed tomography exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires images, reviews findings, documents exceptions, communicates with radiologists, responds to emergencies, provides post-care instructions, and participates in quality and process improvement. The role requires ARRT registration in Radiology or Computed Tomography, AHA BLS training, at least one year of radiologic technologist experience, and the ability to operate imaging equipment and provide patient care.
