Description
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computed tomography exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires images, reviews and documents findings, communicates with radiologists, responds to emergencies, provides post-care instructions, and participates in quality and process-improvement activities. The role may also perform Radiologic Technologist duties as needed and requires ARRT registration or completion of CT training, AHA BLS training, and at least one year of radiologic technologist experience.
