Description
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computed tomography exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires images, reviews and documents findings, communicates with radiologists, responds to medical emergencies, provides post-care instructions, participates in quality and process improvement, and educates residents and student technologists. The role requires ARRT registration in Radiology or Computed Tomography, AHA BLS training, and at least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in Radiology or advanced CT certification.
