Description
The CT Radiologic Technologist operates computed tomography equipment and performs CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures. The role assesses and plans patient care, produces reformatted images, transfers images through PACS and teleradiology, maintains records and billing information, and performs equipment maintenance and supply inventory management. Required qualifications include an ARRT CT or R.T. (R)(ARRT) registration, California radiologic technician registration, BLS certification, and applicable state or facility licenses; an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
