Description
The CT Technologist performs CT imaging according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information ordered by physicians. The role requires knowledge of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, medical terminology, radiation protection and safety, and the preparation and administration of contrast media. A high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an AMA-approved radiology program are required, along with Basic Life Support and a CT Reg Technologist (R) or Reg Technologist (R) license. The position is associated with Temple Health - Chestnut Hill Hospital in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia.
