Description
The CTE Teacher will support soft-skills development and lab-driven occupational experiences across three to four entry-level occupational areas, including coursework supporting the Career and Occupational Standards Commencement Credential. The role is a 10-month teaching position with potential for an Extended School Year, scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, New York State CTE teacher certification or transition candidate status, and experience working with students in a job-training program; master’s degrees and experience with at-risk or special-education youth are preferred. Pay is $55,000 annually for bachelor’s-level applicants and $65,000 annually for master’s-level applicants.
