Description
The Job Corps Instructor performs professional-level instruction in career technical programs and teaches social skills, employability skills, applied academics, and project-based learning. The role includes classroom preparation, lesson planning, attendance and recordkeeping, student progress evaluation, classroom and shop safety, industry partnership development, credential assistance, and student placement support. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, experience working with diverse youth, a valid driver’s license, and certification, licensure, or accreditation in the state of employment; an associate degree and vocational-trade experience are preferred.
