Brookestone Village is hiring a Culinary Assistant to support meal preparation and kitchen operations in a long-term care setting. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas, chopping vegetables, marinating meats, measuring ingredients, following food safety guidelines, bussing tables, and maintaining dining-area cleanliness. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, follow recipes accurately, manage time, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow food-safety procedures. Previous cook or kitchen-handler experience is preferred but not required. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with every other weekend and rotating holidays, with pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience.
