Description
The Polynesian Cultural Center is hiring an entry-level cultural demonstrator for its Islands of Aotearoa department in Laie, Hawaii. The role provides guests with cultural information through demonstrations and lectures, teaches songs, dances, crafts, games, and cultural phrases, and maintains or repairs cultural artifacts, buildings, and props. Applicants must communicate in English, know basic ukulele, be physically able to move and speak for extended periods, and meet the posting's appearance requirement. Cultural knowledge, language ability, and a high school diploma are preferred, but no prior work experience is necessary. The position is part-time at approximately 19 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $16.00–$18.00.
