Description

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Curriculum Coordinator at The Carroll School is a strategic and collaborative leader tasked with advancing inclusive educational programming, equitable practices, and fostering a sense of belonging within the school community. This role involves working closely with academic leaders, educators, students, and families to integrate DEIB principles into curriculum design, teaching practices, student programming, and community engagement.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Demonstrated leadership experience and knowledge within DEIB or social justice-related context, ideally within a school context.
Proven experience in designing curriculum, building staff capacity in DEIB topics and concepts, and teaching students between the ages of 6 and 15.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree
Highly relational leader, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Student-centered, team-first approach to learning and support.
Systems thinker with the ability to develop, scale and sustain equity practices and policies, while also balancing day to day tasks.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and personal development.
Ability to manage complexity with compassion, discretion and sound judgment.
Strong facilitation skills; SEED facilitator training preferred.
Ability to ensure that all constituencies are valued and seen as their authentic selves.
