Description
The City of Abilene is seeking a Custodian to perform custodial maintenance, cleaning, housekeeping, restroom servicing, waste removal, floor care, light maintenance, and facility opening and closing duties in public buildings. The role operates custodial equipment and may drive between City facilities. It requires the ability to read and write sufficiently for job performance, a current Texas driver's license or ability to obtain one within 90 days, physical capacity for medium-duty work including lifting up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work around chemicals, noise, outdoor conditions, and mechanical and electrical hazards. Prior custodial experience is preferred but not required.
