The Custodian performs routine cleaning, sanitation, security, maintenance, and custodial equipment operations at an assigned school site or facility. The role is full time, eight hours per day, with 260 paid days per year, and requires an eligibility examination, six months of equivalent custodial experience, and successful completion of the district’s job-related proficiency test. A California Class C driver’s license may be required for some incumbents.
