Animal Care Centers is hiring a part-time Custodian for its Facilities team, working Friday through Monday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with Tuesday through Thursday off. The role is based in Manhattan and requires travel between Manhattan and Staten Island. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting interior and exterior facilities, maintaining plants and signage, removing trash, performing basic repairs, assisting with large projects, and supporting snow removal and heating or cooling adjustments. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, six months of custodial or porter experience, physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods, and the ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment.
