Description
The Custodian/Facilities Maintenance Worker performs routine and preventive maintenance, building inspections, carpentry repairs, equipment assembly, facility setup, power-tool and hand-tool use, minor plumbing and electrical troubleshooting, HVAC assistance, modular-office reconfiguration, groundskeeping, emergency-response, and waste-removal duties. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of custodial or maintenance experience, knowledge of cleaning, carpentry, plumbing, groundskeeping, appliance repair, and safety procedures, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week and involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physically demanding activities.
