Description
The Custom Applicator applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to customers’ fields and operates, maintains, and logs agricultural application equipment. The role requires a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, pesticide-label reading, worker-protection knowledge, basic math, and the ability to lift 75 pounds. It also includes training and mentoring other applicators, maintaining equipment and facilities, and meeting DOT paperwork and vehicle standards. The position is full-time and mid-level, requiring at least three years of equipment-operation experience and basic production-agriculture knowledge.
