USAM is hiring a Custom Mechanic/Builder for its Manassas, Virginia facility. The role involves reading shop drawings and work orders, fabricating custom cabinets and specialized millwork, operating woodworking equipment and hand tools safely, meeting production goals, and handling complex projects with precision. Applicants need at least two years of millwork and cabinet-making experience, technical-drawing skills, experience in an AWI custom shop, laminate and solid-surface fabrication experience, and the ability to work in a shop-floor environment.
