Hawk is hiring a Customer Data Scientist to work directly with regional customer teams on live anti-money laundering and fraud detection accounts. The role focuses on tuning detection models and thresholds, investigating missed cases and alert quality, translating technical findings into customer-facing business insights, defending methodology to customer stakeholders, supporting account strategy and renewals, and documenting regulatory-defensible changes. Candidates need 5–7 years of customer-facing data science experience, AML or financial crime analytics experience, and strong Python, SQL, and production machine learning skills.
