Description
Google Cloud is hiring a Customer Engineer, Applied AI to serve strategic enterprise customers and lead the design, validation, and production deployment of AI agents and related enterprise solutions. The role covers customer-facing experiences, agentic commerce, back-office automation, multi-agent systems, intelligent search, reasoning loops, tool execution, RAG, security, latency, and integration with enterprise platforms. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 10 years of customer-facing technical or cloud-native software engineering experience, 2 years of Generative AI or enterprise search experience, Python or modern backend coding experience, and experience presenting architectures to enterprise stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include autonomous-agent frameworks, enterprise RAG, cloud security, Terraform, distributed tracing, and agentic shopping workflows. The role is based in London, United Kingdom or Stockholm, Sweden, with a disclosed salary range of SEK 1,360,000–1,390,000 plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
