This entry-level Customer Engineer role serves as the technical liaison between Cummins and OEM customers, supporting the integration and application of B, X10, and X15 truck platforms. Responsibilities include developing technical specifications, selecting and integrating products, resolving installation and performance issues, managing product changes, validating prototype machines, and translating customer needs into functional requirements. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or an appropriate STEM field, strong thermal, fluid, controls, and structural analysis knowledge, and is intended for external candidates within two years of completing their degree.
