Google is hiring a Customer Engineer to partner with technical sales teams as an enterprise hybrid-cloud subject matter expert. The role advises customers on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, application infrastructure, legacy modernization, and hybrid-cloud migration; develops cloud solutions and architectures; leads proofs of concept; troubleshoots technical issues; and presents practical Google Cloud solutions to customers and technical stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, six years of technical sales engineering or customer-facing experience in a cloud computing environment, and experience presenting to technical and executive stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include advanced cloud architecture, container orchestration, CI/CD, networking, and serverless expertise. The role is available in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, or Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
