Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Shenzhen, China. The role serves as a customer liaison and installs, maintains, and upgrades semiconductor equipment while using digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. The engineer will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, coordinate with customers, and follow on-site safety and clean-room requirements. An associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification is required, along with basic mechanical aptitude, diagnostic experience, communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
