Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Shanghai to install, maintain, and upgrade semiconductor equipment for customers. The role involves troubleshooting with digital analytics, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems, coordinating with customers, and following clean-room and safety requirements. The position requires an associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification, along with basic mechanical aptitude, diagnostic experience, communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Travel is required 20% of the time, and relocation is eligible.
