Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Shanghai to install, maintain, and upgrade semiconductor equipment; troubleshoot complex issues using digital analytics and diagnostic tools; perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems; coordinate with customers and internal teams; and mentor junior engineers. The role requires a bachelor's degree, 7–10 years of experience in semiconductor or equipment support, advanced mechanical aptitude, knowledge of wafer processing parameters, and the ability to work in clean rooms and meet safety requirements.
