Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Guangzhou or Shenzhen, China. The role serves as a customer liaison for installing, maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, and servicing semiconductor equipment, including electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. Responsibilities also include coordinating with customers, supporting roadmaps and process flows, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires an associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification, along with 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor or equipment support, mechanical aptitude, tooling knowledge, communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. It is an on-site role with no relocation eligibility.
