Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer in Shanghai to install, maintain, upgrade, diagnose, and repair semiconductor equipment. The role includes preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems; customer coordination; technical troubleshooting; and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need an associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification, along with 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor or equipment support, advanced mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of hand tools and electronics. The position requires on-site work, clean-room procedures, and approximately 20% travel.
