Description
Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Shenzhen, China. The role serves as a customer liaison to install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment systems, including electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. The engineer will coordinate with customers and senior engineers, support roadmaps and process flows, and mentor junior engineers. The position requires 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor or equipment support, advanced mechanical aptitude, strong hand-tool and diagnostic skills, and the ability to work in clean rooms and travel 20% of the time.
