Google Cloud is hiring a Customer Engineer focused on Google Cloud Security to serve as a technical advisor and strategic partner to Sales. The role designs scalable security architectures, leads proofs of concept and technical deep-dives, translates cybersecurity concepts into business outcomes, and partners with product teams to refine capabilities. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 10 years of technical experience including 5 years in customer-facing pre-sales or solutions architecture, and 8 years with modern SOC technologies. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, security or cloud certifications, enterprise security implementation experience, coding or scripting skills, and experience with AI agents or LLM-driven applications.
