Description
Google is hiring a Customer Engineer for Google Distributed Cloud’s go-to-market function to architect and deliver complex hybrid, sovereign, and air-gapped cloud solutions for strategic Japanese accounts. The role partners with sales, engineering, OEM hardware partners, and local System Integrators to address OEM hardware sizing, secure LAN/WAN topologies, sovereign compliance, closed-network AI deployments, and high-level proposals. The engineer will also build technical assets and translate customer feedback into product roadmap requirements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 10 years of relevant experience, programming experience, fluent Japanese and English communication, and up to 60% travel.
