Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Dalian, China. The role serves as a customer liaison to install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and support semiconductor equipment, performing preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. The engineer will coordinate with customers and senior engineers, mentor junior engineers, and travel approximately 20% of the time. The position requires an associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification, along with 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor or equipment support, mechanical aptitude, tooling knowledge, communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
