Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Portland, Oregon. The role installs, maintains, and upgrades semiconductor equipment; performs preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems; troubleshoots equipment; coordinates with customers; and mentors junior engineers. The position requires 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor or equipment support, advanced mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in clean rooms and travel 10% of the time. The salary range is $37.00–$51.20.
