Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Shenzhen, China. The role serves as a customer liaison to install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and support semiconductor and display equipment, including electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. Responsibilities also include coordinating with customers, supporting roadmaps and process flows, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor or equipment support, advanced mechanical aptitude, strong hand-tool and diagnostic skills, and the ability to work in clean rooms and travel 20% of the time.
