Google Cloud is hiring a Customer Engineer for its UK/IE Startups & Scaleups Growth team to lead technical engagements with rapidly scaling startups and venture-backed businesses. The role involves advising founders, CTOs, and engineering teams; delivering technical presentations and workshops; helping design and scale modern data platforms; guiding Generative AI and LLM implementations; and partnering with Sales to qualify opportunities and design secure, scalable, cost-effective cloud architectures. The minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, six years of cloud-native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role, experience presenting to technical stakeholders or executive leaders, and experience working with venture-backed startups or scaleups.
