Description
The role supports ferry terminal operations by assisting with vessel arrivals and departures, marshalling freight, tourist, coach, and passenger vehicles, directing traffic, supporting vessel loading and discharge, maintaining safe traffic flows, monitoring holding areas, and reporting operational hazards. The postholder works with the wider operations team to maintain ferry schedules, customer service standards, and safe and secure activities. Experience in customer-facing, safety-critical, team-based, and fast-paced environments is ideal, while port, shipping, logistics, transport, ferry, vehicle marshalling, traffic management, and passenger transport experience is desirable.
