Description
The Airport Ground Agent provides wheelchair, security, and porter services at an airport. Responsibilities include transporting passengers to and from the curb, checking boarding passes and baggage, securing checkpoints, bag rooms, gates, and ramps, counting bags, preventing losses and damage, and maintaining communication with supervisors. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service and communication skills, English and/or Spanish proficiency, background investigation and drug/alcohol testing, and eligibility for a CBP seal and airport ID. It is full-time or part-time, with varied shifts and possible work in weather conditions.
