The Medical Billing and Collection Specialist promotes patient satisfaction, verifies insurance, processes appointments, collects fees, reconciles charges and payments, maintains accurate billing records, and supports internal controls and cash balancing. The role requires one year of current experience with insurance billing, medical collection, or medical terminology, along with strong communication, customer-service, typing, and basic Windows skills; collegiate or medical-trade completion and an associate degree are preferred.
