Description
The Customer Service Representative resolves customer inquiries by telephone, email, walk-in, and mail regarding plan benefits, claim payments and denials, and eligibility under custom-designed benefit plans. The role responds to internal and external customers, meets call-volume and call-length performance measures, coordinates with internal departments, vendors, and business associates, assists with team training, and participates in ongoing training. It requires an associate degree in Business Administration or a related field with at least six months of work experience, or two years of customer-service experience in lieu of the degree, along with customer-service training, multitasking, communication, professional composure, PC skills, and occasional overtime.
