Description
The Customs Declarant independently prepares, checks, and submits import, export, and transit declarations for the Port of Antwerp, manages bonded-warehouse, excise-duty, and fiscal-representation files, advises international customers on customs requirements, monitors compliance and invoicing deadlines, and supports the customs team during peak periods. The role requires maritime-logistics experience, ocean-freight expertise, knowledge of Belgian and European customs and VAT legislation, fluent English, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and customs software.
